Ciclos Quotidiano Com Sentido

The Living Lab (LL) "Ciclos Quotidiano com Sentido" is coordinated by the Agrarian Development Service of Flores Island (SDAFL), in the Azores, Portugal. It brings together local stakeholders to co-create and test agroecological solutions tailored to a remote and food-insecure island context. The initiative focuses on circular practices, like wool and linen production, food-sovereignty, and biodiversity protection, with strong emphasis on community engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.

As part of a broader vision for sustainable transformation, the LL aims to serve as a policy experimentation hub and a pilot site for agroecological transitions in ultra-peripheral European regions. It seeks to co-create context-adapted solutions that strengthen food security, reduce external dependencies and promote resilient, circular farming systems.
